Checkout allows you to setup rules and customizations in a way that works. In this section, we can set default values to various shipping parameters and set custom rules for shipping. 


Section A: Default Value


Here is the list of parameters you can set default values for in the dashboard.


  1. orders.



    1. The seller can set a fixed or percentage value for the prepaid discount. 

    2. The seller has the option to either apply maximum or minimum value among the fixed and percentage values. 




  1. COD to Prepaid Discount: This is a type of discount that the seller can issue to convert the COD order to a Prepaid Order. 



    1. The seller can set a fixed or percentage value for the cod to prepaid discount. 

    2. The seller has the option to either apply maximum or minimum value among the fixed and percentage values. 

    3. The seller can set the time in minutes for allowing cod to prepaid order conversion. 

    4. The seller has the option to enable or disable “COD to Prepaid” in the Dashboard. 

  2. COD Charges: This is the COD handling charges that the seller can issue for the COD orders.  




    1. The seller can set a fixed or percentage value for the cod charges. 

    2. The seller has the option to either apply maximum or minimum value among the fixed and percentage values. 

  3. Shipping Charges: There are 3 different shipping methods one can send the shipment (rush,  express, and standard)



    You can set fixed values as shipping charges for these shipping methods. The tentative TAT for the subsequent methods are as follows:

    1. Rush: EDD not more than 3 days

    2. Express: EDD not more than 6 Days

    3. Standard: EDD greater than 6 Days

  4. Pickup Configuration: The Cut-off time indicates the time of placing the order, if the order is placed before or after the cut-off time then we can allocate the increase in TAT by the number of days as shown below. 



  5. Non-Serviceable Pin Codes: You can include or exclude the list of pincodes that are non-serviceable either in the form of a list or CSV file. The sample CSV file can be downloaded from the section as shown below. 

  6. Zone TAT Table: This table depicts the TAT against all the logistic zones for Fast TAT and No Rush TAT.


Section B: Custom Rules


You can create the custom rules for the following aspects:


  • Prepaid Discount

  • COD Charge

  • Shipping Charge

  • Disable COD

  • Shipping Visibility

  • Partial COD


For every aspect mentioned above the seller can add the selection criteria and conditions. After setting the  Following is the list of criteria:

  1. Product SKU: You can add the list of product SKUs directly or upload a CSV file containing the list of product SKUs. The sample CSV file can be downloaded as shown below.
  2. Product Tags: You can add the list of product Tags directly or upload a CSV file containing the list of product SKUs. The sample CSV file can be downloaded as shown below.
  3. Product Collection: You can search the collection in the search bar. Single or multiple collections can be added to set the criteria
  4. UTM: You can add the UTM parameters like Source, Medium, and Campaign in the selection criteria. Single or multiple UTM parameters can be added to set the criteria.  
  5. Pickup Pincodes: You can add the list of pincodes directly or upload a CSV file containing the list of pincodes. The sample CSV file can be downloaded as shown below.
  6. Destination Pincodes: You can add the list of pincodes directly or upload a CSV file containing the list of pincodes. The sample CSV file can be downloaded as shown,
  7. Weight Range: You can add single or multiple weight range criteria ranging from minimum to maximum.
  8. Invoice Value: You can add single or multiple invoice value range criteria ranging from minimum to maximum.
  9. Lane: You can define the criteria based on the lane from the origin city to the destination city.
  10. Risk Profile: You can select the risk profile to define the criteria.
  11. Phone Number: You can add the list of phone numbers directly or upload a CSV file containing the list of phone numbers. The sample CSV file can be downloaded as shown below.


Setting the values for each custom rule: Once the criterias are finalized you needs to assign values to respective rules.

  • Prepaid Discount: You can set either a flat discount or a percentage discount for various payment methods available at the checkout. If “Apply max value” is checked then the system applies maximum discount between flat and percentage discounts, else it applies the minimum discount.
  • COD Charge: You can set flat or percent cod charges against the criteria set.  If “Apply max value” is checked then the system applies maximum charges between flat and percentage charges, else it applies the minimum charges.
  • Shipping Charge: You can set flat charges for rush, express and standard shipping methods for the criterias set. 

  • Disable COD: No value needs to be set here as the result for defining criteria will disable COD option in payment in checkout. 
  • Shipping Visibility: You can set the visibility of shipping methods against the criterias set. 
  • Partial COD: You need to set the percentage allowed for partial cod orders against the criterias set, with the option to include the shipping charges or not.
